Carothers Insurance Agency traces its roots back to 1969, when it was founded by Michael D. Carothers. This period marked significant development in Las Vegas and notable global achievements like the moon landing. Starting from a tiny office, with his young son by his side, Mike Carothers set out to cover Las Vegas - achieving particular success with airline pilots. A tribute to this origin can still be seen across Carothers branding featuring the iconic pilot wings theme.
CONTINUING THE LEGACY
Today, Mike’s son continues to honor his father’s legacy. Chris Carothers has dedicated his life to providing essential products and services to Nevada residents. As an active board member of multiple industry associations, Chris is committed to advocating for his community by educating local and federal law makers about the impact potential regulatory changes would have on consumer access and affordability to care.

As we enter a new era, Chris has focused his decades of experience to empower the new generations of insurance professionals amid the ever-evolving insurance landscape. In order to achieve this, he knew he needed to provide enhanced education, updated technology, and innovative resources for brokers.
